$.99 Cent Only Stores Best Deals Week 6/13

This week at the $.99 Cent Only Store, I got some great goodies. I always get excited when I go because I always find something new. My store always gets a new shipment on Tuesdays, so I go on Wednesday after everything is put out.

Remember to ask a manager at your local $.99 Cent Only Stores, to see when their shipment comes in to get the best deals. Also, these are couponless deals (no coupons needed for price), everything is $0.99 or less.

I always look for brand names, because these are items that are not always there and go really fast. There are items they purchase from other grocery stores that didn't sell them and now sell the palettes to the $.99 only stores for cheaper and right before the food expires. The grace period I've seen the expiration dates on most foods I get, are between 1 to 6 months before they expire. Other times it's not food but foil, baby bottles, baby toys, etc. They are just last seasons styles so they are at the $.99 only stores. I usually find a lot of Evenflo and Beechnut products. It saved me so much money.

Albertsons Ad with Coupon Matchups Week 6/13 to 6/19

This week's Albertson's Coupon Matchups for 6/13/12 through 6/19/12. This is a list of products on sale this week, matched up with store coupons (plus the Albertson's Book of Savings- Coupon Booklet for the month) and manufacturer's coupons. Remember it's always a good idea to take a copy of your Albertson's coupon policy, in case you have any problems with coupons, or cashiers with no knowlege of couponing, you can just pull it out).

The Albertsons Book of Savings- Coupon Booklet can be found in the front of the store by the ads, with coupons to use with manufacturer's coupons. All final prices that use Albertsons doubler coupon, can only use two coupons per a transaction. The Albertsons Coupon Booklet (found in Tuesdays or Wednesdays mail every 6 weeks have the Albertsons doubler coupons on the back, the ones in-store do not).

Also, right now till September, Albertsons is having their game where you can win prizes when shopping with them. Pick up a game board to place your pieces on and the Game booklet on how to play. The booklet has several great coupons you can use. Both are found in the front of the store by the in-store ads.

Boys will be Boys: Separation Anxiety 6 months to 4 years

My son Seth is going to be 14 months tomorrow and it feels like yesterday when I had him. It goes by so fast. I am glad I have the opportunity to spend everyday with him and enjoying every moment. 

Recently he started getting upset everytime I would leave, so I needed a solution. After getting some great advice from a specialist, I wanted to share with my readers in case they are having the same problems. I was surprised they worked, so these tips are a keeper.

First off, when a kid is seperated from their parents, they become scared and worried around new people. This is known as separation anxiety. Some kids have a big reaction and others may not react at all. Children can also react when their parents return. They may ignore you or like others cry and be upset. All of these are signs of separation anxiety.

A few tips that may help your child with separation anxiety would be:

Easing them into it. To get them use to you leaving, try telling your child or toddler that you will be going into the other room and you'll be back. Even at first if they do not understand, they will once you continue to repeat yourself. This allows your child or toddler to understand that you are leaving and will be coming back. All kids like to know what to expect.

Practice. When you first start to leave your child with another person. Practice in short time periods and not too far. This gives you the ability to run back to your little one in case of any emergencies.

Stay calm. Remember the more worried you are about leaving your child with another, your little one will sense that in you.
